As the mother of 6 young children, the thought of doing a house addition while living in the house sounds like a total nightmare. Finding the right crew for the job was crucial for so many reasons. First, because we were spending so much money, we needed someone who valued quality. Big Pine Construction does not cut corners and does quality work down to the smallest detail. As somewhat of a perfectionist myself, I have yet to find anything that I’m displeased with in their work. I love it all. Second, communication and clear expectations with budget and spending were important. While the project was not cheap, Josh sure did an extraordinary job making sure we got our moneys worth. Communication was also very easy and when things needed to be adjusted for this reason or that, Josh was very good at explaining the change and offering options that would suit our budget. Finally, being home all day homeschooling my children with a crew working on the house and in the house had the potential to be a miserable experience. I am so pleased to say that it was not unpleasant at all. Josh and his crew were absolutely wonderful with our children and incredibly accommodating with our needs. They always put safety first and kept a tidy workspace (which I especially appreciated). My kids really loved Josh and his crew and we are all absolutely in love with our addition. Big Pine Construction will for sure be our go to for future big or small projects. I’m so grateful for our experience with them and my frugal husband is so happy we spent the money and made our home our forever home. It’s perfect!
